Assumpte: Una forta intuïció (Subject: A Strong Intuition)
Assumpte: Una forta intuïció uses irony to survey the holdings of MNAC by reproducing the pattern of the dynamics of the plunder of the Romanesque paintings of Taüll. The project is situated in an apocalyptic future where the end goal is to safeguard the last existing work of art: a reproduction of a Sol Lewitt painted on the wall of a school. Using the technique of strappo, which was also used to remove the Romanesque murals from Taüll, the work of art will be moved to a safe location: MNAC.
Una forta intuïció is part of a collaboration between Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya and Sala d'Art Jove in 2017.
Project chosen in the Museums and Heritage category within the 2017 Art Jove Call for Proposals, with mentoring by Oriol Vilanova.
