Sala d’Art Jove is a Government of Catalonia space which implements a series of experimental processes to interconnect artistic practice, work with young people, art education and cultural production. It is based on a networking model which enables projects to be articulated with different kinds of cultural and educational organisations and institutions, while also facilitating the dissemination of working processes that give back to the social and cultural setting in which they are located.

The curatorial research program called Programa d’Investigació Curatorial (P.I.C.) is a learning and experimentation device in the field of artistic production and curatorship that aims to create a space for research and the generation of shared knowledge that explores, questions and responds critically to specific projects.
This programme is the result of a collaboration between the Sala d’Art Jove and the Centre de les Arts Lliures de la Fundació Joan Brossa, and is aimed at artists and researchers who have been selected as artists or researchers of Sala d’Art Jove over the last three years, who wish to get to know an exhibition process closely, and who have an interest in collective work and thought.
