WORDS ARE A KIND OF SHAPE
Words are a kind of shape proposes an investigation into the material histories of writing, collecting objects and substances that at different times and in different ways have been vehicles of language. This genealogy is undertaken as a substrate for a plastic work that connects what is visual with what is tactile: it borders what is legible in the absence of a sign, and confronts slippery epidermal voids with the application of a cosmos of materials and layers of surfaces. In a processual and intuitive way, it explores the construction and reconstruction of meaning in the visible.
