Trash researches the notions of waste and periphery with the aim of starting stories which generate a space that allows us to question our ways of relating to the environment.
The project seeks to investigate various methodologies which shun capitalist logics, including those of the art system. It is thus conceived as a hybrid of the exhibition and the story, the material and the virtual, the interior and the exterior, with the aim of blurring the borders – material and formal – of the exhibition hall and of artistic practice itself.
Its approach to how some of the multiple ecological relationships we share on the nature-culture continuum are represented gives them a place and form and is, therefore, always partial and immersed in the material realm. It is an enquiry into the ways of describing an affective intimacy with the world, our affection for it and the affection we receive.

NOVA I CURIOSA RELACIÓ
Inspirades per l’amistat que vincula els integrants de Dau al Set i pel taller d’Enric Tormo, que els acollia, l’equip del P.I.C. donem voltes a les relacions que ocorren en un espai, com si fos un tauler d’un joc. Nova i curiosa relació planteja la creació d’un taller 2.0 on reunim diversos artistes perquè ens ajudin a construir aquest espai-joc, consistent a trobar les pistes fins a sortir d’una habitació. En diem taller 2.0 perquè no l’entenem tant com un espai físic, sinó com un sistema que ens interrelaciona. Així, a prova de buscar-ne la sortida, esperem que les participants entrin a habitar la nostra nova i curiosa relació.
Aquesta proposta és el resultat de la investigació i treball que el Programa d’Investigació Curatorial (P.I.C.) ha dut a terme durant el 2022, a partir de l’exposició La invisibilitat del Dau. Enric Tormo, impressor i fotògraf.
