TREURE FERRO

At this moment I am thinking of the verb to plough. I want to talk about how we become aware of what layers of earth and human experience exist. Cracked, sedimented. And I want to talk about how this information is stored historically. What information? In my first exhibition I work with iron. But I don’t like the robustness I give it. I learn from the material. If I don’t electroplate it and don’t kill off the bacteria, a lot of layers of rust appear. I love rust!
