PRONÒSTIC

I work in a rural environment. I try to identify the conflicts, phenomena or events occurring in the countryside in which an artistic process enables me to build a new story and even find a way to transform them. I believe in artistic practices rooted in and tied to the territory where they are conceived. Creating in a relationship. So, against the background of the contemporary climate crisis, I urgently need to rethink the artistic process and its impact. I see this project as the beginning of a transformation of artistic practice towards one that is more sustainable, ecological and functional for the planet.

Pronòstic researches forestry management in the Pyrenees, its dynamics and the players that coexist there, key factors in the evolution of the natural landscape and the possible future that awaits us. The research seeks to forge connections that analyse the current scenario of human impact on the environment and enable me to imagine and create other activities to make life sustainable in every sense of the word.
