When I asked artificial intelligence to 3D model a home, I felt reassured and understood when I saw that what it generated was quite similar to what I had learned about what a home is: a shapeless mass with four walls which contains something.
Something I can’t quite decipher. Something a bit broken, a little oppressive. A place where I wouldn’t be of my own volition. Something which just touches you. With the same randomness as artificial intelligence generates this 3D. A place that is falling apart, which is too large. A place which has contained me, trapped me and dragged me along. A place I have to escape from.
