CUTE CLASSISM, SWEET FASCISM
Pink supremacism, xenophobic glitter and childish despotism. Cute classism, sweet fascism looks at the fascist discourses hidden behind the aesthetics of anime and which reside in some digital spaces. The study is based on the phenomenological discordance observed at the visual and discursive level between the two languages: sexism, racism and ethnocentrism hidden behind a veil of sugary, innocent and colourful images. The nicest classism, the most sinister fascism. From a critical standpoint, the idea is to create a landscape that is the outcome of research on a hybrid journey that blends theory and fiction in the same format and in which a narrative anchored in dissenting dialogue can be constructed; in other words, to unfold an extended heterogeneous story in which essayistic instruments are used but from which the development of fictional narratives allows one to escape. This mestizo dissertation device is located in the flow of the text and in the representation of the symbols. It thus becomes a model of descriptive discourse that allows us to intervene in the inherent mechanisms of the theoretical text and the archive and to alter them, to move away from any exposition developed from research and, indirectly, political beliefs of this kind. It takes place on an apparently truthful imagined plane, where one can flee from explicit terrain and abandon tyrannical doctrines.
