Programme International

Every year, Sala d’Art Jove opens an international residency programme in conjunction with different art centres and spaces abroad. Short-term training stays are offered with the goal of enhancing and enriching the artists’ practices through contact with different social, artistic and cultural realities. These stays allow the artists to discover new languages and learn about art trends outside Catalonia. Sala d’Art Jove works to create real bonds with the artistic practices and the environs of the different partners centres and spaces, bearing in mind their pace and timing; their social, political and geographic situation; and their lifestyles and forms of interaction.
