This mourning project questions the institutionalisation of death and the social approach to the pain of loss. The absence of references and information turn death into a highly bureaucratic phenomenon in which protocols make it impossible to experience loss in alternative ways. This is the reason behind the artist’s collective, cross-cutting approach to grief, integrating the emotions inherent to this process. Her aim is to collectivise the artistic process and discomfort.
