CUERPXS COMO ARXIVXS Y ANARXIVXS
Nancy Garín, journalist, art researcher and freelance curator linked to critical thought, new pedagogies, archives, memory and decolonialism. One of the project leads for ‘Anarchivo sida’.
How do you make a body of archives? How are archives produced from the individual and collective body? Is the body or bodies an archive? Conceived as a dual response to our times in which today’s bodies are held under the gaze of control and suspicion, we will hold two, almost simultaneous meetings examining examples of projects that tackle the concept of the archive. Projects that can provide clues on the questions raised and whose practices are embedded in the intersection between art and politics. We will examine active, affected and affective, situated, precarious, everyday, collective and sensory archives and anarchives.
Nancy Garín in conversation with Chavo Guerrilla (Crapulismo Ilustrado), Fito Conesa (En Avant La Musique), Gelen Jeleton (Archivo DIY), Genderhaker (Archivo T) and Lizette Nin (De disturbios, duelos y fiestas).

SEDIMENTACIÓN:
INSPIRADXS!
Itxaso Corral Arrieta, living artist, unleashed dancer, life singer, musical sculptor, amateur physiologist, writer and deeply paranormal.
Inhalation and exhalation may not be subjects in Fine Arts faculties or schools, but they are two of the most beautiful arts of staying alive. We can spend a long time thinking about this: about photosynthesis, oxygen, where our bodies are, which bodies, why there is so much separation between body and thought, whether art comes out of our bodies, how we archive everything that comes into us and everything that goes out, how our artistic physiology develops, how we are, how we breathe… With all the pandemic safety measures in place, we will talk, we will do, we will be, but without stopping breathing, because otherwise we are neither living artists, nor artists, nor human, nor living.
Inspiradxs!
Saturday 19 September 11:00.
Turó Park (Av. de Pau Casals entrance, Barcelona).
ARXIUS ENCARNATS
Archivos Encarnados is a meeting place where we question bodies and their performativities in dialogue with the concept of archives. We ask ourselves from where the archive turns into flesh, and how the flesh becomes an archive. We ask ourselves: which authorities determine the archives? Which practices are left inside and which outside? How are archives generated and overflowed? We will begin to listen to organisms as spaces that hold memory; containers of collective stories, rooted in affections, living archives that breathe in movement.
A proposal from the Art Jove 2020 mediation team: pli-é collective (Eva Paià, Marina Ribot Pallicer, Angelica Tognetti).
