There is something more immeasurable than moving a 2-ton stone, and that is moving it with the certainty of knowing that it will never move from its place.

And although bringing it into words may seem like something light, it only serves to underline its weight, the possibility of being brought forth, of being thought up. It only makes it clear that the strength of imagination is not brute. It is a more subtle movement.

Manuela Pereira’s project is an activation in three parts, through letters, where the idea that moving something so massive is also an act of the imagination, not only of physical effort.
