Taste is not just what we perceive when chewing, ingesting and digesting plant and animal cells, vitamins and minerals; it is strongly influenced by cultural and social characteristics, context and time. The creative gesture of a chef or artist is related to our sensitivity.

After a presentation exploring the “taste” of the edition “Instruccions, mostraris i altres receptes.Sala d’Art Jove 2021″, the workshop “Segueix-me per a més receptes” proposes disassembling the physical object and reassembling it differently to create a new publication that responds to our personal taste; our sensory palimpsest. To do this, we will make different ingredients – both culinary and publishing – available to participants. Participants will also be invited to bring additional ingredients that reflect their personal or artistic gaze, their emotionality and sensoriality. Throughout, we will intervene, as bricoleurs and physically, in the existing publication in terms of content, format, sequence, materiality, etc., thus creating a new book. At the end of the workshop, we will share and sample the different recipes.
