DARE YOU SAY: GAME NIGHT
The Good Deed Bad Deed game invites artists and photographers to discuss their privileges in the production process and presentation of their projects. It addresses structural discrimination such as racism, sexism, age, classism, faith-based discrimination, etc.
Through hypothetical scenarios, the game challenges the mechanisms for decision-making and judgments in photography, encouraging participants to reflect on their intentions and consider alternative perspectives.
During the activity, participants will be divided into groups of four and will play the game accompanied by İpek Çınar and İpek Aşıkoğlu. Similarly, a conversation in which we will reflect on and explore the ethics of photography will also take place.
Come along with your 4-person group! But if you don’t have a group, don’t let that stop you: there will be interactions with other incredible people. You can play the role of the kind-hearted or the devil, a lover of everyone, or a big cat. Above all, you will consider photography, agencies and the work of the curator.
“Cultures d’avenir” is a programme promoted by the Pompidou Centre in Paris, the Haus der Kulturen der Welt in Berlin (HKW) and the Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona (CCCB) with the support of the Franco-German Youth Office (OFAJ).
