RETRATOS DEL SEXILIO

The project takes the story as a methodology to produce knowledge on exile and sexual dissident migration; cooking as caring; to bring us closer, converse and produce knowledge between ourselves.

Diego Posada’s projects take on ways of doing that value popular wisdom and collective practices where knowledge is produced and shared ‘between ourselves’. His work focuses on necropolitics; war as a way of governance as a preface to colonial logic, functioning as containers and producers of the national discourses of Colombia, the place I was born and in which I grew up, but also of Spain and Catalonia, the territory and the national discourses I inhabit. More specifically, it focuses on the relationship between necropolitics and war as a cultural framework with sexual dissidence and the discourses that constitute them as abject and as targets of violence. His research is carried out as situated knowledge from a migrant, Latino, ‘sissy’ and ‘uncolonial’ perspective.
