Unes balances a la mà i una pedra en Escorpí [A set of scales in the hand and a stone in Scorpio]1 is an event that seeks to recall and make visible the act of listening and of solidarity. It does so by activating what remains latent behind Julio César Palacio’s work Sound Tower (Minaret) ACT 02; by weaving voices, stories, and accounts until words turn into chants that summon past times and leave traces, with the artist Julia Spínola. Also, by making a loving call to the beyond through the wind, where sound and smells echo, with the artist María Freire. It is an event that aims to reveal the questions latent in some of the projects gathered in Lleixes i mòmies; to explore possible cross-contaminations and to propose other ways of inhabiting reading spaces.
