Curatorship

Sala d’Art Jove views curatorship as relational work that encompasses all practices that seek to tend to artistic creation processes and their contextual, situated development. From this vantage point, ‘tending to a space’ or ‘tending to a project’ implies mentorship and listening in an attempt to grasp the needs of both the creators and the public.

At Sala d’Art Jove, we propose different spaces where curatorship can be experienced in all its facets, and where our own work proposals and those of others in conjunction with similar institutions can be articulated. These spaces seek to boost collective thinking strategies through specific programmes.
