This year, as part of the Art Nou Festival and in collaboration with MACBA and the ICEC (Institut Català de les Empreses Culturals), we have organised a fair that aims not only to map the context of young emerging artists in the city, but also to offer them a space to present their projects to professionals from the sector. The guests invited to this first edition include: El Sielo, Raccoon Projects, Oblicuas, Grup d’Estudi and P.I.C. In some cases, these are self-managed spaces, while others operate within the framework of institutions. Some have a physical space; others have a work group. All of them, however, respond in one way or another to this broad concept of emerging artists, as they set out on creating their first project. 

The fair, moderated by the director of Art Nou Clàudia Elies, will feature an initial 15-minute presentation for each project and will continue with a final space intended for debate. The journalist Rita Roig will also be there to report on the event.
