Com conquerir l’espai [How to conquer space] was born in the dark, in a bath at night, under a summer sky. It was also born thanks to an article on space exploration, hidden like a treasure between the pages of a red notebook. It was born out of starting a master’s degree in art in a new country. From learning to ride a bike, buying an eye-catching coat and facing living far away from home. From researching about the moon, the astronauts and the conversations they had up there, while they didn’t fall asleep. From being cold at night and the objects we bury in our pockets. Or those that we forget on other worlds.

The publication was born from sensing that two distant stories may not be so distant: that they dialogue, reflect and pursue each other. From listening to their rhythms. From studying their steps. And, above all, from the desire to make them dance.

This edition is the result of the collaboration between the Centre d’Art La Panera de Lleida and Sala d’Art Jove.
