Pronòstic is a research project that, through art, raises the possibility of the Pyrenees burning from one end to the other in the not-too-distant future. It is a story about land, depopulation, families, food, tourism and consumption. And, of course, about fire and climate change.

This edition is part of the first phase of the project: research on the proposed theme, which attempts to answer the following questions: What is the current state of the forests of the Pyrenees? How does forest management work in Catalonia? How has it reached this critical point in terms of fires?

To do so, during 2023, different interviews were carried out with agents working in the forest and those who are closely related to the surrounds. One example is this conversation with the artificial intelligence tool ChatGPT. 

This edition is the result of a collaboration between the Centre d’Art La Panera de Lleida and Sala d’Art Jove.
